Honda’s exciting new-for-2009 motorcycle model range will be on display at the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show in just a few weeks, from 14-15 March at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, Edinburgh.
Heading Honda’s line-up at the show are its awesome new supersports machines – the CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR600RR – now equipped with Honda’s world-leading Combined ABS system as an option. The addition of an effective but light-weight ABS system is a technological first in the supersports class, a sector in which both the Fireblade and the CBR600RR are leaders in their respective capacity categories. At the Scottish Motorcycle Show, the ABS-equipped ‘Blade will be seen in the beautiful Pearl Siren Blue colour-scheme, while the CBR600RR with Combined ABS will be resplendent in the striking Tri-colour scheme.
Other important Honda machines will be there for the public to see, including the CBF125 – the latest addition to the Honda family of naked motorcycles and the UK’s best selling motorcycle in January. It shares all the features of its larger siblings but with the economy and ease-of-use only found in smaller capacity machines.
Further machines from Honda’s 2009 range will also be on display including the stylish CB1000R performance naked, the sturdy CBF1000 GT, the good all-rounder Deauville, the ready-for-adventure Transalp, VT750DC Shadow cruiser, great commuter CBF600SA, the VRF800 in its superb new for ’09 white colour scheme and Honda’s flag-ship motorcycle, the GL1800 Gold Wing.
Steve Martindale, General Manager of Honda (UK) Motorcycle Division said, “For many motorcyclists in Scotland this may be the first time they will get to see the highlights of our 2009 range – in particular our superb and acclaimed Combined ABS-equipped CBR600RR and Fireblade. But if supersport machines aren’t your thing, there will be a variety of motorcycles on display in our range to suit every need and experience of rider, right from the luxury of the 1800cc Gold Wing tourer to our all-new, practical, economical and fun CBF125.”
